Cleanup Efforts Still Underway After Semi-Truck Crashes Into Bridge

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Cleanup efforts were still ongoing Tuesday morning after a semi-truck crashed into a bridge overnight on the outskirts of San Angelo.

Debris from the truck was left scattered under the bridge from the crash, which occurred about 2:30 a.m. where North Chadbourne Street goes under U.S. Highway 87 near Brown’s Pool.

The driver of the crash reportedly avoided serious injury despite his vehicle being destroyed.

According to a Nixle alert at about 7:30 a.m., North Chadbourne Street will remain closed under the bridge for several more hours.
