SAN ANGELO, TX — A three-vehicle crash shut down a major San Angelo intersection Monday afternoon.
The crash occurred about 3:45 p.m. at West 19th Street and North Bryant Boulevard.
Two of the vehicles suffered significant damage, and at least three people have left the scene in an ambulance.
Traffic was being diverted from Bryant onto 19th Street.
According to a traffic officer with the San Angelo Police Department, the driver of a Chrysler was issued a citation for running a red light, which caused the accident.
One occupant from the Chrysler was taken to the hospital, while two people in a Chevy pickup left in an ambulance.
The occupants from a Chevy Tahoe involved in the crash both declined medical treatment.
