Man Killed in Single-Vehicle Crash on U.S. 87 in San Angelo

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A 55-year-old man was killed Sunday morning when his vehicle veered off the road and crashed into a concrete pillar on U.S. Highway 87, police said.

The crash happened around 10:55 a.m. on March 9, 2025, in the 400 block of South U.S. 87.

Police said the driver was traveling southbound when his vehicle left the roadway and struck the pillar at the Crossing Avenue overpass. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

San Angelo police are continuing to investigate the crash. No additional details have been released.
