One Hospitalized After Two-Vehicle Crash at West First Street Intersection

SAN ANGELO, TX – A driver was hospitalized Tuesday after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of West First Street and North Koenigheim Street.

It happened around 4 p.m. and according to police, a white Volkswagen Jetta was in the turn lane on West First Street, preparing to turn northbound, when the driver disregarded a stop sign and collided with a black Jeep traveling north on Koenigheim Street.

Initially reported as a minor crash, the wreck was later upgraded to a major crash. One person was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.

It is unclear if the driver received a citation.
