SAN ANGELO, TX— A three-vehicle crash shut down westbound lanes of Sherwood Way on Tuesday afternoon.
According to San Angelo Police, a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of West Houston Harte and Sherwood Way occurred around 1:15 p.m. A red Buick Enclave and a red Ford Taurus were both in the right and left lane. One was turning left onto Sherwood Way, and the other was going straight.
A white Honda Elantra was heading west on Sherwood Way, which ran the red light and hit the Buck which, in turn, pushed the Buick into the Taurus.
One individual from the Buick Enclave was sent to the hospital with non-incapacitating injuries. The driver of the Elantra was transported to the hospital by private vehicle and will receive a citation for disregarding a red light.
