Power Outage on Northside Caused by Crash

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - A crash on Bowie Street near 29th Street in San Angelo caused a power outage for several neighborhoods Wednesday night.

A driver reportedly struck a utility pole at a high rate of speed, resulting in the power disruption just before midnight. 

AEP’s website stated that power restoration efforts are underway, with an estimated resolution by 6 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 23. It also states that a total of 427 customers are without power. 

Details have not been released regarding the driver’s condition or potential charges following the crash.
