Cement Truck Crash Claims One Life in Texas

 

HOUSTON – A major rollover crash involving a cement truck and a work truck left one person dead and another with potentially life-threatening injuries Tuesday morning near the 11044 block of Bammel N. Houston Road and Beltway 8.

According to Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman, the cement truck went over the side of Beltway 8 and landed on the feeder road. Emergency medical services confirmed one occupant deceased at the scene, while another was transported to the hospital.

Authorities have not released the identities of the victims. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
