Two Hospitalized After Driver Runs Stop Sign

SAN ANGELO, TX – A black Jeep running a stop sign at the intersection of South Garfield and West Harris caused a crash Tuesday afternoon that sent both drivers to the hospital, according to San Angelo police.

This happened when the Jeep failed to yield the right of way to a black SUV traveling eastbound on West Harris. Each vehicle had only the driver inside, and no passengers were involved.

Emergency crews transported both drivers to a local hospital with injuries described as unknown at the time of the report.

Police issued a citation to the Jeep’s driver for failure to yield at the stop sign.
