Older Man Hospitalized After Rollover Crash in San Angelo

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — An older man was hospitalized with non-incapacitating injuries after a rollover crash this afternoon.

It happened at the intersection of Howard Street and Sherwood Way around 4:15 p.m. today and involved a Nissan Juke and a Chevy pickup truck. Initial emergency dispatch audio said that the man in the truck was entrapped, but nearby citizens were able to release the man from the vehicle.

The driver of the Chevy, the older man, was taken to the hospital for treatment. The occupants within the Nissan were checked and released on scene. 

It is unclear if any citations were issued or what led to the collision. We asked for more information at the scene and were referred to their communications department.
