Crash on Knickerbocker Sends One to Hospital

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – A two-vehicle crash in the 4700 block of Knickerbocker Road near La Quinta resulted in one person being transported to the hospital Monday afternoon.

It happened around 2 p.m. and involved a white Buick Encore and a red BMW. According to the San Angelo Police Department, the BMW was heading west on Knickerbocker when the Buick, pulling out of the La Quinta, failed to yield the right of way. The BMW then struck the Buick.

The driver of the Buick, a woman, was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The extent of her injuries remains unknown. The driver of the BMW, also a woman, was uninjured.

Police issued a citation to the driver of the Buick for failing to yield the right of way from a private drive.
