EDEN, TX – A two-vehicle crash early Wednesday morning resulted in one vehicle fully engulfed in flames and another with entrapment, according to the Eden Volunteer Fire Department.
It happened on Oct. 16, 2024, about eight miles north of Eden on U.S. Highway 83.

Emergency responders from the Eden Volunteer Fire Department and Paint Rock Volunteer Fire Department were paged out to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found one vehicle completely on fire while the second vehicle had occupants trapped inside, sustaining injuries.
Assistance was provided by the Concho County Sheriff’s Department, Texas Department of Transportation, and EMS units.
The current condition of those injured and the cause of the accident have not been disclosed.
