SAN ANGELO, TX — The San Angelo Police Department and other emergency services responded to calls of a rollover crash near the intersection of Johnson St. and SMU on Tuesday night, August 13.

At around 8:35 p.m., a two-vehicle crash ended with a white truck on its side in the yard of a San Angelo resident and another black SUV with its front end torn off. According to the San Angelo Police Department, the SUV attempted to pull out of the San Angelo Stadium parking lot moving south on Johnson St., but failed to yield the right of way to the white truck already traveling southbound on Johnson St.

An ambulance responded to the crash, but our reporter on the scene did not observe anyone being taken to the hospital at this time. SAPD said that it was unknown if anyone went to the hospital but confirmed that there were no life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the white truck received a citation.
SAPD diverted all traffic away from the accident while clean-up was in progress and while emergency services checked on the individuals involved in the crash.
