GoFundMe Created For Local Volunteer Severely Injured in US 67 Crash

SAN ANGELO, TX - A local volunteer known for his service to the Lord, was involved in a major vehicle accident on Wednesday, July 24th on US Highway 67.

The crash resulted in significant injuries, including multiple fractures.

Stephen Burton, who has started his long surgical journey, faces an uncertain recovery period. The surgeries are expected to continue over the next few weeks. Post-surgery, he will reside with family as he will be unable to bear weight during his recovery.

The crash left Burton with fractures in all the bones in his left leg, his right femur, a few ribs, and dislocated toes, along with a few less serious injuries.

Burton's family has thanked everyone in advance for their continued prayers and support. They also appreciate the ongoing assistance from their church, Immanuel Baptist, and their friends during this challenging time.

A GoFundMe was created to help on his road to recovery.

"If you have so much as a dollar to spare, it would mean the world to his family," information stated. "If you can't spare anything, even sharing it helps more than you will know."
