Reports: DPS Chases Crotch Rocket into Tom Green County

SAN ANGELO, TX — Texas DPS was in hot pursuit of a man driving a racing motorcycle from as far away as Sterling County, according to witness reports. The chase happened at around 1:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon, July 20, 2024.

Once the motorcycle entered Tom Green County, Tom Green County Sheriff’s Deputies assisted with the chase. It was brought to an end about a half mile north of FM 2105 on north US 87 in the southbound lanes.

Home Motors proudly displayed the motorcycle on a flatbed as it drove it away to the wrecking yard.

Witnesses told us of mysterious black law enforcement vehicles racing down US 87 at speeds of 100 mph or more as the chase cumulated.
