SAN ANGELO, TX — A Ram 3500 dually pickup truck was in a single-vehicle rollover crash at around 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. July 17, 2024. The truck was outfitted with a flatbed and welding rack in lieu of a traditional pickup truck bed.
The result of the rollover crash appeared to have trapped the occupant as the passenger door appeared to have been forcibly opened in the rescue. One ambulance took off, rushing back towards San Angelo with lights and sirens.
The crash happened east of San Angelo on on FM 380 east of Veribest at 3rd Road. The Mereta Fire Department responded to the crash along with Texas DPS and Tom Green County Sheriff’s deputies.
The roadway was dry and it was daylight. We saw no other vehicles that were involved.
