Odessa Man Dies After Being Run Over by His Own Vehicle

ODESSA, TX — A 41-year-old Odessa man was killed after being run over by his own vehicle at a Sonic Drive-In, according to Odessa Police.

According to information, Joshua Lujan, the only occupant of a black Chevrolet pickup, was parked at the Sonic located at 87th and Andrews Highway. 

At some point the victim exited his vehicle, the truck began to roll backwards and the victim was run over.

Lujan was transported by private vehicle to Medical Center Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. His next of kin has been notified.
