San Angelo Woman, 26, Dies in Single-Vehicle Crash

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A 26-year-old San Angelo woman died in a single-vehicle crash Saturday, July 6, 2024, according to a release from the San Angelo Police Department.

At about 4:34 p.m. Saturday, officers were dispatched to the 600 block of East Houston Harte between the North Bell Street and North Main Street overpasses for a motor vehicle accident.

Officers discovered a vehicle had left the roadway and collided with a traffic sign.

The driver, Chelsea Gray, was transported to Shannon Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead. A male passenger, 26, was uninjured.

SAPD's Motors Division, Crime Scene and Drone Division were requested on scene to assist with the investigation, according to the release.
