SAN ANGELO, TX— Two white trucks were damaged, and one rolled onto its side after crashing in downtown San Angelo.
Around 5:30 p.m. Friday, June 28, 2024, San Angelo police and other first responders were dispatched to the intersection of West Beauregard and Irving Street for a reported rollover.
Reporters on scene observed minor front end damage to a white Dodge Ram and a white Ford Ranger on flipped on its side. Scanner reports indicated that the driver of the Ford Ranger had a head injury and he was seen with blood on his shirt and holding gauze to his head.
In a statement from responding San Angelo police, the Ford Ranger was southbound on Irving Street and the Dodge Ram was eastbound on West Beauregard. There was a disagreement on who had the green light and both trucks collided in the intersection.
The Dodge Ram hit the back quarter of the Ford Ranger, causing it to flip on its side. No citations were issued yet and everyone involved in the crash refused medical treatment even though one driver was bleeding from his head.
The San Angelo Police Department issued a Nixle alert to avoid the area while crews cleaned up the carnage and a crash investigation was being completed.
