SAN ANGELO, TX - A lunchtime crash sent one person to the hospital.
This happened at the intersection of S Koenigheim St and W Ave B near the entrance to the San Angelo Visitors Center.
According to the San Angelo Police Department, two vehicles were traveling northbound on Koenigheim St.
The Dodge pickup was in the middle lane while the Buick SUV was in the left lane and the Dodge attempted to make a left turn from the middle lane. This is when the truck struck the SUV.
The SUV was pushed off the roadway and struck a utility pole and a guard rail while also knocking over a sign.

The driver of the SUV was sent to the hospital with unknown injuries.
The driver of the pickup received a citation for the improper turn.
