Update: No Injuries in Ballinger Home Health Fire

 

BALLINGER, Texas – Ballinger Fire Department officials provided updated information on the structure fire in downtown Ballinger Saturday night.  

Below is the update from the BFD:

"Update on the 9th St. Ballinger Home Health structure fire. We will follow up with more info at a later time. At approximately 7:50pm the Ballinger Fire Department was toned out to a structure fire near the Ballinger Fire and Ballinger Police Departments address. Ballinger Home Health offices at a structure on Hutchings Ave./ Highway 67. Directly behind the office on 9th St. there is an alley way than two adjoining structures also owned by Ballinger Home Health. The structure closest to the alley way was a storage building then connected to it was a parking garage for all of their vehicles ( close to 20+ cars). The storage structure was the building that was on fire.The BFD along with mutiple mutual aid departments ( will update with all agencies on scene) were able to stop the fire at the storage building itself , while protecting other very close proximity and adjoining structures. At around 2am all agencies were released . Ballinger FD and PD will remain on scene."
