Motorcyclist Killed After Ramming Rear of Semi-Trailer

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A motorcyclist died in a crash towards Wall this afternoon. 

According to the Texas DPS, the initial results of the investigation show that the motorcyclist was trailing a truck tractor towing a flatbed semi-trailer northbound on US 87 when the truck driver slowed approaching the intersection of Brodax Ln. The motorcyclist did not stop and rammed into the back of the flatbed.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

Texas DPS is investigating and will release the name of the deceased once next-of-kin is notified. The Wall VFD provided crash scene security and traffic control. San Angelo EMS also tended the scene.

It was daylight and the weather was partly cloudy and the roadways dry when the crash happened.
