Crash Stops Traffic On Houston Harte Expy

SAN ANGELO, TX - A crash disrupted traffic heading in both directions on the W. Houston Harte Expy.

The crash happened around 11 a.m. on March 21 and was between a black Buick SUV and a white Chrysler van.

The crash caused traffic to back up and came to temporary complete stops.

An official statement from the San Angelo Police Department was unable to be received.

Reporters on the scene did not see anyone leave in an ambulance, but the medics were there for precautionary measures.

It was unclear who was at fault or how the crash happened.

But our reporter witnessed the white van drive away once the greenlight was given.

After the initial crash, it appeared as if the black SUV struck the median head-on, crushing the front end. The airbags were deployed.
