Coleman School Burns to the Ground in Mysterious Fire

 

COLEMAN, TX — The Coleman Fire Department (CFD) reported a fire at the old Mozelle school on FM 1026 in Coleman County on Tuesday evening. 

The vacant school was engulfed in flames, prompting the response of multiple fire agencies. As of 6:00 PM on Tuesday, firefighting efforts were underway, and residents were advised to anticipate several days of smoke at the fire site. 

The cause of the fire and further details were not provided in the brief Facebook post by CFD.

The investigation is ongoing and no further information has been released.
