Crash Leaves Two Injured, Driver Cited for Right of Way Violation

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - A crash occurred earlier today, Feb. 18, at the intersection of West 17th Street and North Bryant Blvd, leaving two individuals injured and prompting authorities to issue a citation.

The crash involved a brown BMW 740 traveling eastbound on 17th Street. 

The San Angelo Police Department said that the driver failed to yield the right of way at the yield sign. 

The BMW subsequently crashed with a silver Elantra, which had two occupants.

Emergency services responded to the scene, reporting two minor injuries. Both injured individuals were transported to a local hospital. 

The driver of the BMW received a citation for failure to yield the right of way.
