San Angelo Police Cruiser and Ford F350 Crash

SAN ANGELO, TX - A crash between a San Angelo Police cruiser and a Ford F350 occurred at the Main St. and Pulliam intersection, resulting in a citation for the pickup driver.

The crash happened as the officer, en route to a call, approached the intersection without activating lights and sirens.

It was said that the nature of the call deemed the lights and sirens unnecessary.

The patrol unit was traveling northbound on Main St. at the time.

In the midst of traffic, a white Ford F350, traveling southbound on Main St. and attempting to make a left turn onto Pulliam, inadvertently turned in front of the oncoming police cruiser.

The pickup, occupied by two individuals, failed to notice the approaching patrol unit.

All parties involved underwent medical evaluations at the scene as a precautionary measure.

Following the investigation, the driver of the Ford F350 received a citation for failing to yield the right of way while executing a left turn.
