Wrong Way Crash Shuts Down East Loop 306

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A wrong-way crash on East Loop 306, near Paint Rock Road, completely stalled traffic on the loop east of San Angelo on Tuesday afternoon. 

A green Ford Ranger was traveling the wrong way on the northbound lanes of Loop 306 when the driver struck a Big Rig traveling northbound. Texas DPS confirmed the cause of the crash but did not provide any other details at this time.

There were some minor injuries, but no one went to the hospital. Check out a video of the scene below:

The crash caused Texas DPS Officers to shut down the two lanes on East Loop 306 completely while crews cleared the Ford Ranger and other wreckage.
