Rollover at Lowe’s

SAN ANGELO, TX — A crash between what appeared to be a Toyota pickup and a small sedan at the frontage road to Loop 306 and Sherwood Way has shut down all eastbound traffic on Sherwood Way. The crash is at the northeast corner of the Lowe’s building materials store.

At the scene, the sedan is noticeably stalled in the middle of the intersection while the pickup looked like it lost control and is situated upright on the grass beyond the curb underneath the eastbound lanes of the Loop. The initial call over the radio was that this was a rollover. It may have been the pickup, now upright, with witnessed with all airbags deployed.

We expect the intersection to be cleared by 9 p.m. as the wreckers arrived as of 8:05 p.m. Two ambulances were dispatched to the crash that happen at 7:30 p.m. The roadways were dry and the skies clear at the time of the crash.
