Jetta Driver Cited for Wrong Lane Turn in Two-Vehicle Crash

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - A crash near the intersection of North Koenigheim and West Second Street involving a Volkswagen Jetta and a GMC Sierra, resulted in a citation for the Jetta's driver. 

The crash unfolded in the 100 block of North Koenigheim on Tuesday afternoon, where both vehicles were traveling northbound. The GMC Sierra occupied the far left lane, while the Volkswagen Jetta was in the adjacent right lane.

The Jetta attempted a left-hand turn into the Popeyes parking lot which then led to the truck crashing with the turning Jetta. 

No individuals required hospitalization. Emergency medical attention was administered on the scene to everyone involved.

The driver of the Jetta received citations for turning from the wrong lane and possessing an expired driver's license.
