SAN ANGELO, TX - The San Angelo Police Department responded to a crash at the intersection of North Chadbourne and E 27th Street.
The crash unfolded as a blue Mazda, unknowingly traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of Chadbourne, collided with a white Chevy truck heading westbound on 27th Street, preparing to make a right-hand turn onto North Chadbourne.
The police department reported that the crash occurred during the truck's turning maneuver.
Emergency services arrived at the scene, and a passenger from the Mazda was transported to Shannon with injuries of unknown nature.
The driver of the Mazda will face a citation for the violation of driving in the wrong lane.
