Crash Closes Notorious FM-2105 Intersection Again

SAN ANGELO - At around 5:19 PM Tuesday, the Grape Creek Volunteer Fire Department, in conjunction with a San Angelo Fire Department Ambulance, responded to a reported three-vehicle crash at the intersection of US HWY 87 N. & FM 2105.

The intersection has been the scene of numerous crashes over the years.

First Responders found a brown 2009 Kia SUV, a 2017 black Nissan passenger car, and a beige 2006 Chevrolet pickup truck had crashed at the notorious intersection.

Emergency personnel promptly attended to the scene, providing necessary aid and medical attention. Subsequently, one driver was transported via ambulance to the hospital to address injuries sustained in the crash. The crash occurred under clear and cool weather conditions, with dry roadways prevailing at the time.

The Texas Department of Public Safety has initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

In response to the crash, traffic diversions were implemented for approximately an hour on both US HWY 87 N and FM 2105, as authorities worked to clear the scene and conduct the necessary investigations.
