SAN ANGELO, TX - The aftermath of a red light violation left multiple vehicles damaged, one driver cited for disregarding a red light, and one driver with injuries from being impaled.

On Jan. 23, a motor vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of South Abe Street and West Beauregard, prompting a response from officers.

The crash involved a 42-year-old driver of a Dodge pickup who, while traveling southbound on Abe Street, disregarded a red light.

The crash ensued when the Dodge collided with a Honda Civic driven by a 25-year-old male and then slid into the GMC Acadia, driven by a 17-year-old female.

Both the GMC and Honda were traveling westbound on Beauregard at the time of the crash.
