Pickup Crashes Into Gas Meter and Utility Pole

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - A driver crashed a pickup into a gas meter and a utility pole in north San Angelo Monday morning leading to the response of the San Angelo Police Department.

At around 9:30 a.m., scanner activity reported the crash at the intersection of E. 19th and N. Oakes, saying that a gas meter was struck by the vehicle.

In response to the crash, an ambulance arrived at the scene to assist anyone in need of medical treatment.

It was not clear if anyone was harmed. 

Utility contractors were also dispatched to the location to secure and shut off the gas supply.
