Nissan and Chevy Crash at West Avenue N and South Bryant

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - A crash between a Nissan Altima and a Chevy truck unfolded at the intersection of West Avenue N and South Bryant this afternoon, Jan. 16.

According to The San Angelo Police Department, the Nissan Altima was heading northbound on South Bryant, while the Chevy was traveling southbound on Bryant. 

The crash occurred as the Nissan attempted a left turn onto Avenue N and was struck by the oncoming Chevy.

In the aftermath of the crash, it was revealed that both vehicles had a sole occupant. 

Emergency responders transported the Nissan driver to the hospital, although no life-threatening injuries were reported.

The investigation by authorities determined that the driver of the Nissan failed to yield the right of way while making a left turn from Bryant onto Avenue N. As a result, the driver will be issued a citation for the failure to yield the right of way.
