SAN ANGELO, TX — It was originally called over the radio to be a crash with entrapment. Two cars collided in front of the Walmart SuperCenter on S. Bryant just before 5 p.m. today. Because of the entrapment call, the San Angelo Fire Department dispatched a large contingent of units. When they arrived, firefighters discovered it was less severe than dispatch reported.
It appeared that all of the action was in the northbound lanes. The white Toyota was turning out of the Walmart parking lot onto Bryant and was smashed into by the gray sedan.
The white Toyota was pushed off road and made tire marks in Walmart’s front lawn. The crash site was cleared by 5:30 p.m.
