Firefighters Respond to Saturday Night Blaze

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The San Angelo Fire Department and other emergency services responded to a structure fire at the 600 block of Van Zandt Street at around 10:45 p.m. on Saturday night. 

 

According to scanner reports, the fire originated in the attic. Extensive damage to the garage could be observed by our reporter on the scene. Everyone in the house made it to safety without injury.

When our reporter arrived on the scene, the blaze was already extinguished. Fire hoses were observed hooked up to fire hydrants in the area. The exact cause of the fire is unknown at this time, but the fire department is investigating.
