Lubbock Firefighters Douse Blaze at Storage Complex

 

LUBBOCK, TX — Lubbock Firefighters responded to a scary scene early Thursday morning. A large fire engulfed Discount RV Storage at 134th and Frankford Avenue. 

Lubbock Fire Rescue received a 911 call at 3:45 a.m. about a possible fire at the storage facility. When firefighters arrived on the scene, they observed "heavy fire conditions" coming from a large, single-story storage complex.

In the end, it took three different fire trucks to put out the fire. Crews battled the blaze for two hours before firefighters deemed the blaze to be under control.

There were zero injuries reported.

The cause of a large fire at Discount RV Storage at 134th and Frankford Ave. is still unknown at this time. The Lubbock County & State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the fire.
