Driver Injured in Rainy Rollover Crash on FM-2288

SAN ANGELO, Texas – A work truck driver was transported to the hospital via ambulance Saturday evening at approximately 5:45 p.m. following a single-vehicle rollover crash on FM-2288 near Grey Wolf Lane.

Emergency responders from Grape Creek Volunteer Fire Department and San Angelo Firefighters, in addition to DPS Troopers and Tom Green County Sheriff's Deputies, were dispatched to the crash site. Grape Creek VFD reported that the driver seemed to have lost control of the truck, veered off the road, and subsequently overturned.

The road was described as slippery due to light rainfall. Although the driver's injuries were undisclosed, they did not appear to be severe. Grape Creek VFD emphasized the importance of reducing speed on wet roads and adhering to all traffic regulations. The thoroughfare was cleared within an hour.
