Crash at Grape Creek Road and FM 2105 Intersection

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A collision involving two vehicles occurred shortly before noon on November 25, 2023, at the intersection of FM 2105 and Grape Creek Road.

Initial observations from the crash scene indicated that a white Ford SUV collided with the rear driver’s side quarter panel of a Jeep Cherokee. The Department of Public Safety (DPS) is currently investigating the incident and has not disclosed further details at this time. Following the crash, one individual was urgently transported to Shannon ER due to injuries sustained.

Jose Rivera, a member of the Grape Creek Volunteer Fire Department, noted that this incident marks the second collision at this particular intersection. He recalled a previous accident at the same location, which tragically resulted in a fatality. Rivera also mentioned a noticeable increase in traffic in the vicinity. The Grape Creek Volunteer Fire Department routinely addresses both crashes and fires in the expansive northern areas surrounding San Angelo. In this incident, the San Angelo Fire Department's EMS team provided support with an ambulance response.
