SAN ANGELO, TX — A serious accident occurred on FM 2288 around 10 p.m. on Thursday, November 9, 2023, involving a blue Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck. The incident took place between Posts Creek Bridge and the entrance to Highland Ridge subdivision.
Upon arrival, first responders discovered the truck overturned in a barrow ditch. The driver, who was the sole occupant, was quickly transported to the Shannon Emergency Room by ambulance.
The accident happened under challenging conditions, with darkness and a light, intermittent rain contributing to a slippery roadway. Grape Creek Volunteer Fire Department handled the crash scene. No other vehicles were reported to be involved in this incident.
