SAN ANGELO, TX — San Angelo Police officers responded to a crash between a grey Toyota Forerunner and a black Chevy Silverado at the intersection of Jackson St. and University Ave late Tuesday morning.

An ambulance arrived on the scene to treat minor injuries for the occupants of the Forerunner. After medical personnel diagnosed two individuals, one adult and one child, the child was taken in the ambulance to the hospital.
Police officers did not give a statement, but both vehicles received significant damage. According to reporters on the scene, the Silverado appeared to have been struck in the side by the Forerunner in the middle of the intersection.
