Wildfire Causes Evacuation in Sweetwater

 

SWEETWATER, TX – Residents on two streets in Sweetwater in Nolan County have been ordered to evacuate Friday afternoon because of a wildfire.  

Below is a social media post from the Sweetwater Fire Department:

"EVACUATION ORDER: Due to a wildfire, residents at Circle Drive and Poplar from 8th to 10th Streets must evacuate immediately. Shelter is available at the Nolan County Coliseum Annex. Please avoid the area and allow crews to work to contain this fire."
