WATCH: Traffic on Knickerbocker Slows to a Crawl After Collision

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A crash damaged two vehicles near the intersection of Loop 306 and Knickerbocker, slowing traffic to a standstill on Friday, July 28. 

At around 4:30 p.m. on Friday afternoon, a two-vehicle crash saw a silver Chevrolet sedan and a red Hyundai SUV both receive considerable front-end damage at the intersection in front of Burkes. Both cars collided in the intersection. There were no ambulances present, and both cars were hauled away on wreckers. The road conditions were dry, and the weather was clear at the time of the crash.

The San Angelo Police Department officers closed down one lane for northbound traffic on Knickerbocker and one lane for southbound traffic on Knickerbocker during the investigation. Wrecking crews quickly moved the vehicles out of the flow of traffic before police officers cleared the scene. Traffic on Knickerbocker is back to normal.
