Crash Involving Taxi Shuts Down Traffic on Busy San Angelo Street

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – A crash involving an AA Bell Taxi Van caused a snarl in traffic Wednesday morning on Sherwood Way at Loop 306.

According to our reporters on scene, on June 14, 2023 at around 9 a.m., San Angelo Police Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Sherwood Way and Loop 306 frontage road southbound for the report of a major crash.

Upon arrival, officers found a white Buick SUV and a white taxi van that had crashed in the middle of the roadway. Subsequently, both vehicles were moved to the northbound lane of Sherwood Way.

The crash resulted in the closure of two lanes on Sherwood Way and one lane on the frontage road.

No information regarding the cause of the crash or any injuries was released by the San Angelo Police Officers at the scene.

The crash was resolved and cleared by 9:45 a.m.
