WATCH: Northside Short Bus Crash

 

SAN ANGELO – Some tense moments Monday afternoon in north San Angelo as a short San Angelo ISD bus was involved in a crash at the intersection of Pecan St. and 13th St.  

Around 3 p.m. San Angelo Firefighters and Police were dispatched to the intersection for a crash with injuries involving a bus and a parked trailer.  

Reporters on the scene found a school bus had crashed with a parked trailer at the intersection.

San Angelo Police Dept. Investigating officer Younts says the school bus was southbound on Pecan St. attempting to turn west onto 13th St. 

The driver apparently cut the corner short and crashed into the trailer attached to a parked pickup.  

Officer Younts says there were three students, an adult monitor and the adult driver on the bus and there were no injuries.  

The bus driver was issued a citation for failure to control speed.
