BREAKING: Fiery Fatal Crash Shuts Down I-20 Near Abilene

 

TYE, TX – Reports have confirmed that a section of I-20 in Tye near Abilene has been shut down following a fiery rollover crash on Tuesday morning.

According to multiple reports, on Feb. 28, 2023 at around 8 a.m., emergency crews were dispatched to I-20 in front of the Flying J in Tye for the report of a major crash. When the crew arrived they discovered a vehicle that had rolled over and caught on fire. Near the car was the driver who was ejected.

CPR was administered to the driver but she later was declared deceased on scene. No word on the identity of the individual at this time.
