Ambulance Rushes to East San Angelo Following Crash

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Officers with the San Angelo Police Department on Wednesday afternoon worked a crash in East San Angelo.

According to our reporters on scene, on Dec. 21 at around 2 p.m., officers with the San Angelo Police Department, along with firefighters and paramedics with the San Angelo Fire Department, were dispatched to the intersection of Ave N and S. Irving.

When the officers arrived they discovered a black Chevy Malibu and a white truck that had crashed in the middle of the intersection. The truck was able to move out of traffic but the black car was immobile. Here are photos from the scene:

No official statement was given on scene but it appeared to our reporter that someone was taken to the hospital via ambulance. The reporter does not suspect the injuries were life threatening. 

Firefighters and Home Motors were able to clean up the crash. The road was fully reopened by 2:30 p.m.
