Abilene Woman Reportedly Dies in Fiery Crash in Nolan County

 

TRENT – A 34-year-old Abilene woman has reportedly been killed in a fiery crash on a County Road just west of Trent over the weekend.  

According to information from the Texas Department of Public Safety, a 2007 Nissan Murano belonging to Carmen Eliza Pyron of Abilene was traveling west on County Road 124 three miles west of Trent when it failed to negotiate a curve just before midnight Friday night.  The Nissan left the roadway in the curve, struck a sign and a fence and burst into flames.  

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.  

According to the DPS, the identity of the driver was made through information, but investigators are waiting results from an autopsy to positively confirm the driver’s identity.
