UPDATE: Biker in Serious Condition After Crash with Silver Sedan

 

SAN ANGELO- A silver sedan and a motorcycle were involved in a crash that left the biker in serious condition.

Officers and other emergency personnel were dispatched to the 2100 block of Knickerbocker Road between Stadium Lanes and San Angelo Stadium for reports of a major crash that involved a silver four-door vehicle and a motorcycle.

According to Sergeant Solsberry with the San Angelo Police Department Traffic Unit, police were called out to Knickerbocker Road and Industrial Avenue for a crash. Witnesses recounted that the motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed and passed through the traffic light at Knickerbocker and South Johnson Street.

The motorcycle then collided with a silver four-door sedan that was turning left onto Knickerbocker Road from Industrial Avenue.

The cyclist was transported to Shannon Medical Center with serious injuries and has been admitted into intensive care. Everyone inside the silver vehicle was not injured.

The San Angelo Police Department could not identify any of the individuals involved in the crash.

CSI was also working the scene at the time and the police did use the drone during their investigation of this crash.
