A Song of Fire & Ice? Shaved Ice Van Goes Up in Flames

 

SAN ANGELO –A shaved ice van went up in flames at the Sonic Drive-in restaurant on Beauregard Ave. by the river Wednesday afternoon.  .

On Wednesday around 3:00 p.m., a B'Low Zero shaved ice van caught fire at a drive thru lane at Sonic Drive-In, located at 527 West Beauregard Avenue.

 

Firefighters and San Angelo Police responded and extinguished the flames, but the van was seriously damaged by the fire. Police closed West Beauregard Avenue northbound lanes of West Beauregard Avenue from South Park Street across the bridge to David Street next to Holland Jewelers while firefighters worked to put out the fire.

It is unknown what caused the fire at this time.
