WATCH: Unlicensed Driver Causes Crash at Busy Downtown San Angelo Intersection

SAN ANGELO – An early afternoon crash caused traffic to slow down near a busy downtown intersection.

Just after noon Monday, a two-vehicle crash was called at the intersection of 6th St. and N. Chadbourne. A blue Ford Escape had crashed with a white Honda Passport.

Officer Welch with the San Angelo Police Department told reporters at the scene that the blue Ford Escape was traveling eastbound on 6th St., failed to control speed, and rear-ended a white Honda Passport.

Each vehicle had one occupant inside and no one was transported to the hospital.

The driver of the blue Ford Escape was issued citations for failure to control speed and no driver’s license.
